Robert E. Greenberg, MD, Founding Chair, Department of Pediatrics, 1971-1975

                                                             (1929-2015)

Dr. Greenberg graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine in 1953. Prior to his appointment at Charles R. Drew Postgraduate Medical School, he had been director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Stanford University. He left California in 1976 to become chair of pediatrics at University of New Mexico.
