Health Sciences Library Hours - Spring 2025
The CDU 4-year MD (Medical Degree) program is one of only 4 MD granting programs in the United States at a Historically Black learning institution. Our program trains future physicians how to treat, care for, and advocate for medically underserved communities, particularly communities of color. CDU COM provides leadership training in research and community engagement to produce a vibrant physician workforce, graduates who will be poised to become change agents toward an equitable and just American Healthcare System. The curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of medicine then embarks on an organ-based approach to diseases while students concurrently hone their clinical skills, learn about their role in addressing social determinants of health, and conduct relevant health services and/or clinical research.
