Disclaimer for the Community Through Poetry “Bursts” Series
This community of poetry and spoken word comes from many years of experience working with poetry groups and is not based on a theoretical framework or research perspective. We use the vehicle of poetry and spoken word to explore different views and perspectives and to enlarge our vision and understanding. The “Bursts” gatherings center around a variety of themes and create space for respectful sharing and discussion. Everyone is welcome and each person’s views are their own, shared in an atmosphere of support and encouragement.
