Bursts of Roots and Remembrance
November 20, 2024
When we think of roots, we think of history and ancestry, and also our present-day roots – what we turn to as sources of wisdom, support, renewal, and encouragement. And “remembrance” includes not only our memories and cultural memory, but also the way in which we frame our memories and remind ourselves of what matters to us.
Featured Poem: “Remember,” by Joy Harjo.
