What is an App?

The term "apps" is short for applications. They are baisc programs that perform very specific functions--such as forecasting the weather or helping you prepare for your medical terminology test.

What is a mobile site?

A mobile site is simply a mobile-friendly version of a regular website. It is different from an app in that you do not need to download anything to view content. 

Where do I get apps?

Apps for Apple devices can be downloaded from the App Store. Even though it's called a "store," there are numerous apps that are free to download.
