Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is an application that collects, manages, and cites research sources. It's easy to use, connects with your web browser to download sources, and best of all it's free. This type of software is one of many Citation Management Software (EndNote is also a citation manager) available on the web.
Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies. Zotero is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Please note, librarians at CDU use PCs and may not be familiar with the Mac platform. Mac users are welcome to schedule appointments but should be aware that the librarians may not be familiar with Mac menus and options.
