EndNote guide for CDU Health Sciences Library

Please Read

This guide contains introductory instructions for students and faculty who are new to EndNote. For more in-depth training please see our Advanced Topics guide.

How do I get EndNote?

Students and faculty can stop by the CDU Library and have EndNote X7 installed on their laptops.

We have EndNote X7 for both Windows and Mac.

Please view the System Requirements to make sure your laptop is ready for EndNote X7.

If you prefer to use the web-based version of EndNote (EndNote Basic), you can do so by registering online through the CDU Library (you must be a CDU student or staff member).

What is EndNote?

EndNote is Bibliographic Management Software. It is used to collect, organize, and store citations that you come across while performing research.

EndNote also works in conjunction with Microsoft Word to allow you to easily insert citations and automatically create bibliographies while you write your research papers.
